Wow, Hello Again

Hi again, you guys. It's been at least four years since I updated last, so... Hi!

They're all rather different from one another. Horrorland was my attempt at a horror story, but I have to rewrite it. It's rather awful.

The slowlearner343 blog is actually called The Red Pen, and it's a grammar and punctuation reference site. There are plenty of sites that are far better than mine, but I thought it'd be a good way to learn about these things.

Lastly, Procrastinate With Me is full of things I've found interesting and/or cute. This is fun for me, because I get to write about what I like to do.

So thanks if you bothered to watch this blog. xD I've changed venues since 2007, though, so I'll see you around somewhere else.

Guitar Hero III

I know the hype about Guitar Hero III is all "Oh, it's so awesome!! Oh, it's got such cool graphics! oh blah blah blah!" Well, yes, it's pretty cool, but not amazing. It's a lot tougher, which isn't so bad, but the way they make the levels ascend, it's kinda sucky. I mean, they make it go from uberly easy, to really really hard. I just don't really like it. Oh well, I'll update later, guys!

I went to Japan!!

Totally awesome news, guys! I've been to JAPAN!! It's soo great! I went to Tokyo, Kyoto (I have a cousin there who's from Israel), Hiroshima, Hakone, and Nikko. There may have been more, but I don't remember ther being any. I got the coolest souvaneirs (that's probably spelled wrong, but I can't think this early), too! I got a chopstick (called hoshi in Japan) rest shaped like a paper crane. I also got two paper fans that advertised shops and shows. Then I got my friends cell phone charms and bookmarks. That's all I can type, my parents are coming!

Video Games Live Concert

Man, it took DAYS to get there, but my family and I travelled to the Kennedy Center in Washington DC to see the Video Games Live Concert. It was fantastic! I was dressed up and Link from The Legend of Zelda. I think they put the interview up on the website...you'll have to ask for the link later (pun intended). There were so many great parts about the show, it's hard to put them all up. I'll put up a couple of the best though.

The best: The Link Fangirl

I was at a booth for the DC Anime Club (like I could join! Ha!) and a girl came up to me. I don't know who she was dressed as, but I do know she was wearing a collar and leash...i think. She just came up to me and said, "Hi. I'm a total Link fangirl. Can I hug you?" I was kinda weirded out, but I said, "Okay..." So, she hugged me, and after that she kida jumped up and down for a second and said, "Yosh! Thank you!" For all you non-Japanese speaking people out there (I speak a little...a couple words here and there in Romanjin.) Yosh, means something like, uh, "All right!" Just like Yatta means "I did it!" So.. yeah.

And another great (shorter) story. I was walking in there, a little nervous cause people were staring and I didn't see anybody else in costume, and a little boy was being pulled by his mom out the door. He can't be expected to know the difference of the characters, but as soon as he saw me, he said, "Zelda! Look mommy!"

So cute. But of course, while basking in the many pictures being taken of my costume, and the interview, I completely forgot (after I signed up) to go and meet the booth for the contest in time to pick the top ten. So they picked a MegaMan that looked like he bought it off eBay...and check it out...he got second place!

The first place winner? An "L" shaped Tetris block. Sooo great. He was hilarious. The dude in the costume said his name was Sam. Heh...Hi Sam! Awesome costume! *laughs* So...yeah...


My mom's out so I actually have time to update this thing without her knowing. Yosh! (see above explanation)

There's something I need to tell y'all. I'm not gonna do the blog for a bit, k? Maybe only a couple days, maybe for a month. I'm sorry, but I don't really have anyone saying anything or checking this out, so whatever.

My Friends and I

My friends and I have made a group. We like to burn things, so we are called the Pyrox3. My Pyro sisters will also be posting on this blog, though they have absolutely NO knowledge of the book Maximum Ride, cuz they suk like that. They are soooo glad I said that. Yeah, right.
